“Das ans Schaufenster einer Boutique angelehnte rote Kinderfahrrad habe ich 2007 in Florenz entdeckt und spontan als "Schnappschuss" fotografiert. Das kleine Kind zum Fahrrad ist nicht aufgetaucht. Vermutlich genau deshalb wirkt das Bild als zauberhaft verspieltes Stilleben mit vielen farblichen und thematischen Verbindungen. Noch im gleichen Jahr ist ein Fotoaquarell daraus entstanden.”

“I discovered the red children's bike leaning against the store window of a boutique in Florence in 2007 and spontaneously photographed it as a "snapshot". The little child to the bike did not show up. This is probably precisely why the picture looks like a magically playful still life with many color and thematic connections. In the same year, a photo painting was created from it.”
